. . . It’s A Feeling

. . . It’s A Feeling

Home isn’t a place, at least not for me. Home is a feeling, unlike a house; a home isn’t a physical entity. There are times when I’ve felt more at home in a train traveling between random cities than I did living in the house I was brought up in.

People often ask me,”When am you going home?” Truth is

I am Home!

I am not on vacation, this is my lifestyle. Home is a state of mind. I may not have a house(doubt I ever will), everything I own fits in a single bag & weighs less than 10kgs.

Most people will never understand my life choices and that’s alright, they aren’t the ones dealing with the consequences of  it. Some days I have an amazing hotel room all to myself and other days I’m sleeping in a tent on the top of a mountain. #EverydayIsAnAdventure

There have been times when I was surrounded by my family and friends I have known for years but yet have never felt so alone. They’ve been times I have spent with strangers I met a couple of hours ago that are moments I will always cherish.

To the question of

when am I going back to Goa

, the probable answer is;

Maybe never

. I’ve spent 18 years in Goa and I will always remember my roots but I don’t see myself going back.

The person that left Goa in April 2016 is dead.

Change is the only constant thing in life

, the person I am now isn’t the person that existed a week ago and definitely not the person I was years ago. The person I will be in a couple of days will be completely different to the person I am now.

Each person that has ever lived in the world is the accumulation of his/ her experiences. Sadly most people experience the same day again and again and again. Living out the week waiting for the weekend, waiting the entire year for summer, waiting their entire lives for happiness.

People will be able to steal your money, fire you from your job, take away all your belongings but

no one can take away your experiences.

My life is always in flux and home cannot possibly be a place.
