Jack’s Place: When I reached Kampot I was walking to one of the popular hostel, when I saw a sign for a dorm for 2.5$/night, I thought it would be bad but on actually giving it a look it was really nice. It isn’t listed on any booking site and is called Jack’s Place. It’s opposite the
Monkey Republic
and I would definitely recommend it.
Arcadia Backpackers
: This place is awesome! It’s a hostel with watersports! It has a massive slide, kayaks, a blob and a pontoon! The staff, service & food were also excellent. I spent Christmas and New Years eve over there and it was super fun.

Things To Do in Kampot:
Bokor National Park:
Bokor Mountian is about 1-2 hours out of Kampot, it is little charming abandoned French hill station – that includes a shell of a church and a nature reserve. The road up the mountain is now paved and provides easy access. Entry to the area is US$0.50 for motorcycles and $US2.50 for cars. It is home to wildlife including tigers, elephants, gibbons and rare birds.
Relax by the river:
Kampot is a perfect city to just float around on a tube or just kayak around the river. Many guesthouses line the riverside and you can spend the whole day relaxing under the sun.
Visit Kep
: Kep is a beach town just a 25km ride away, with amazing seafood and a relaxed vibe with hammocks by the sea.
